- As a Senior Project Engineer you will provide clear guidance and conduct detailed conception engineering, repair, modification, recertification, mob/demob, workshop testing and documentation.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will also be responsible for:
- Providing operational support and technical management of Light Well Intervention systems and operational procedures for offshore operations.
- Leading processes for recertification, upgrades and providing technical expertise to field engineers.
- Providing expertise through tender, remittance and execution phases Interpreting client’s CTQs, standards and global practices
- Reviewing the scope of work to make operations lean, safe and technically sound.
- Introducing cost-reduction measures, efficiency, and standardization in day-to-day operations
- Acting as a link between Global Engineering and LWI.
- Executing the given engineering projects (independently or part of a team), according to Baker Hughes and international standards and procedures.
- Creating, review, approval of engineering parts, documents, procedures, study reports, design, requirement as per engineering guidelines.
- Giving OTR/workshop day to day support by solving engineering issues
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be educated to B.Sc level in Engineering
- Have experience within the subsea industry: preferably Interventions, Intervention systems, BOPs (blow out preventors) , LRPs, WCPs (well control procedures) etc.
- Be familiar with well control procedures and standards – from API (American petroleum institute)
- Have extensive experience and proven track record with CWOR (completion and workover systems) (rig but not in this role but useful none the less) systems, XT products
- Have previous experience in positions such as project engineering, system engineering or project engineering management at product or system level.
- Have excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Be able to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions.
- Be flexible for international travel.
