Rotawn Energy & Logistics specializes and has the requisite expertise and experience in the provision of offshore support vessels services, maritime security services, Ship to Ship (STS) berthing/transfer operations, SBM, all forms of mooring activities and is poised to take on the challenge of delivering a wide range of maritime services to the oil industry in the entire Gulf of Guinea, in conjunction with our foreign technical partners.

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas, Marine

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within the Marine sector.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and identifying new opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Marine segments.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully executing business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals to clients, showcasing the company’s capabilities and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a unified approach towards business development goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Good portfolio with clientele in Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
  • Understand clients’ needs and work towards providing customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to strengthen the company’s position in the market.
  • Negotiate and finalize business agreements with partners to achieve mutual benefits.
  • Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Oil & Gas and Marine segments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on the Marine sector.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects and challenges within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining key client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Salary Budget
N250,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
