Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Wun Finance Officer will be responsible for managing budgets, preparing reports, conduct transactions, mediate tax refunds, follow up on outstanding repayments, provide auditors with information on VAT returns and generate reports for various finance managers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Your responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:
• Developing and maintaining financial systems
• Planning, directing and controlling accounting and financial operations
• Preparing reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review.
• Ensuring that accurate records are kept by standard practices.
• Establishing budgets, forecasts and future cash flows.
• Providing periodic financial analysis
• Monitoring budget performance and expenditure control.
• Managing invoicing procedures to collect money owed by clients/customers.
• Following up on outstanding repayments.
• Providing auditors with informationon VAT returns.
• Monthly computation and remittance of VAT and PAYE.

Requirements – Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of proven Experience as a Finance Officer, Accountant
• Working knowledge of all statutory regulations, accounting principles and legislation
• Knowledge of tax regulations and tax remittance.
• Proficient use of accounting software
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 / month.
