We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Graduate Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Roles and Responsibilities
UI/UX & Front-End Design:

  • Develop user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, usability findings, ensuring accessibility across platforms & routine testing.
  • Create user flows, use-case diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, user surveys, mockups and style guides.
  • Analyze website data to optimize high traffic web pages and enhance user experience.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain web and business applications, landing pages, and features.
  • Project management of web and app developments; and roll-out, updates & quality assurance testing of same.

Back End Development:

  • Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional code.
  • Write clear, reusable, and consistent code.
  • Design and maintain scalable database schemas and robust APIs.
  • Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
  • Manage hosting environments, including database administration.
  • Handle data migration, transformation, scripting, troubleshooting, debugging and QA testing.
  • Project management of web and app developments; and roll-out, updates & quality assurance testing of same.

Business Development:

  • Generate and manage leads; create and share proposals.
  • Handle, update & disseminate product offerings.
  • Participate in strategy development & implementation.
  • Handle client negotiations, deliver services, and guarantee quality assurance.

Product & Software Design, Development Management:

  • Develop & Refine product strategies & roadmap in line with relevant user & other insights.
  • Design, develop, test, launch & refine/update products or product features; & ensure quality assurance.
  • Oversee the rollout of applications and ensure compatibility with third-party products.
  • Design and implement software applications, both in-house and third-party.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them as needed.
  • Manage client databases, digital data systems, and maintain a centralized data dictionary.
  • Conduct regular maintenance for applications and related tasks.

IT Infrastructure & Admin:

  • Administer network and data security, including firewalls, virus protection, and email security.
  • Respond to IT issues, set up equipment for new users, and consult with vendors to update company technology.
  • Manage the rollout and support of desktop devices, including laptops and printers.
  • Lead staff training on ICT-related topics and manage G Suite and Gmail accounts.

Education & Experience

  • At least 12-18 months’ appropriate experience supporting IT infrastructure, business, technology and service delivery, preferably within a small/medium size organization.
  • Good understanding of server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls etc.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, SAS, and/or Python.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Good knowledge of Networking technologies and concepts.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-class business applications e.g. SharePoint, customer relationship, content and document management systems.
  • Good understanding of IT security and Data protection.
  • Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology solutions is a plus.
  • Good understanding of cloud and mobile technology.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
