Position Overview
- As the Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for anyone entering our premises.
- Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing phone calls, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to various departments.
- The ideal candidate is courteous, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees as they enter the office.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, direct calls to the appropriate person or department, and take messages when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring it reflects our company’s professionalism.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms, and supporting various departments as needed.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and ensure all equipment is in working order.
- Provide general information to visitors regarding the company and its services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of National Diploma.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
