Job Title: Executive Assistant
Location: Lagos
Position Overview
- To support this rapid expansion, we’re seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) to join our team.
- This crucial role will involve providing comprehensive support to the C-Suite team members, with a focus on calendar and travel management, coordinating communications and other administrative duties. The EA will support different functions and must be willing to wear many hats.
- The role also requires strict confidentiality as the EA will be privy to strategic business conversations.
- We are seeking a process-driven generalist who is a great communicator, detail-oriented and extremely organised. We are also looking for someone who is experienced in not only handling administrative tasks but also confidential information.
- This provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain responsibility quickly and contribute directly to the critical growth stage of a business.
- Over time, this role is expected to expand into owning and driving cross-functional projects, into positions like that of a Chief of Staff or BizOps Lead.
- This is a hybrid role based in our Lagos office and will require occasional travel within Nigeria.
Role and Responsibilities
- General Administrative Support: Serve as a “right-hand” person to C-Suite team members by overseeing their day-to-day activities, sending communications on their behalf and coordinating other relevant logistics. You will also be traveling regularly with our CEO and Chief of Staff, visiting our sites.
- Step in to support different functions: you will be contributing to initiatives on a tactical level and drive them to completion with high-level direction.
- Calendar and Travel Management: Efficiently manage complex calendars and travel arrangements, ensuring optimal scheduling and coordination.
- Meeting Support: Play an integral role in meetings by participating, taking detailed notes, and following up on action items.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to close out on next actions arising from various meetings and projects. You will also be collaborating with some specific departments (e.g. the legal team).
Who you are
- You have extensive experience providing administrative support to C-Suite level executives as an Executive/Administrative/Personal Assistant, or similar roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. You also have a super high attention to detail.
- Excellent MS Office and Google Suite proficiency.
- You are discreet and can handle confidential information.
- Comfortable in early-stage startup environments. You’re self-directed and take ownership and initiative.
- You are excited about our mission of increasing access to energy and employment for women.
