Job Title: Treasury Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • This is a full-time on-site role at Ikeja for a Treasury Specialist. The Treasury Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day cash management functions, daily short-term investment activities, ensuring cash forecasts are accurate to determine funding needs, and analyzing financial data to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of cash management activities.

Job Description
Banking:

  • Letter of Credit documentation and management,
  • Intercompany Reconciliation and management.
  • Budgeting and Budgetary Control.
  • Accruals, General ledger ownership, management, reconciliation and Control.
  • Monthly/Quarterly and Year-End Closure.
  • Bank Reconciliation and Bank Charges Review.
  • Daily Cash Flow Report
  • Accounts Payable Management
  • Cash Advances Management
  • Petty Cash Management.
  • Ensure that the organization strictly follows Internal Control Compliance – Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and Delegation of Authority guides.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the HOD.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Accounting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification; ICAN, ACA
  • At least five years’ experience in treasury management or related field
  • Treasury Management and Cash Management skills
  • Analytical and Financial Skills
