Description 

  • Our client is seeking a Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of a facility, ensuring that it meets the needs of its occupants or users. We have a range of Offices, halls, toilets and other facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the facility.
  • Coordinate routine inspections and repairs to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly.
  • Manage relationships with maintenance contractors and service providers.
  • Optimize the utilization of space within the facility.
  • Plan and coordinate office layouts, relocations, and renovations.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage the facility budget, including operating expenses and capital projects.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement budget controls.
  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the facility, its occupants, and assets.
  • Manage access control systems and surveillance equipment.
  • Implement environmentally sustainable practices and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient technologies.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee relationships with suppliers and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Coordinate evacuation procedures and conduct regular drills.
  • Liaise with various departments and stakeholders to understand their facility-related needs.
  • Communicate effectively with building occupants and address concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in facility management or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3-5 years cognate experience

Salary
N150,000 – N300,000 monthly.
