At Aerospheres, we are recruiting to fill the position of sales representative for West Africa and be a key player in driving and achieving sales goals, with a primary focus in Nigeria. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our market presence and fostering strategic relationships within the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities
Nature and Scope:
- Cultivate relationships with Airlines and MRO’s, showcasing the innovative offerings of both Aerosphere’s and PDQ Air spares.
- Ensure a consistent influx of relevant RFPs from potential customers.
- Keep our client base informed and engaged with the latest products and services from both companies.
- Provide insightful reporting and feedback on sales opportunities, market trends, and developments within West Africa.
Customer Relationships:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with top customers, being proactive with on-site visits when required.
- Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of all open orders by collaborating with the inside sales team.
- Devise and execute strategies for diversifying customer portfolios across new product families.
- Introduce customers to the latest features on Aerosphere’s’ website for an enhanced user experience.
- Resolve customer disputes promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain and update meticulous sales and customer records.
- Exhibit flexibility by working outside regular office hours to provide essential support to the region when necessary.
- Sales
- Diligently follow up on customer quotes and sales orders.
- Implement effective strategies for upselling, encouraging new products, bulk orders, consignment options, and long-term contracts.
Marketing:
- Stay abreast of industry advancements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of new products and features.
- Keep a vigilant eye on the competitive landscape in West Africa, providing strategic advice on market developments.
- Regularly report regional performance, address emerging issues, present sales forecasts, and communicate implemented growth strategies.
Internal Support:
- Collaborate with other departments by providing crucial feedback on regional requirements.
- Proactively address and follow up on any payment issues, ensuring a seamless financial transaction process
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in the role
- Bachelor’s Degree in the aerospace industry or a related discipline.
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills during critical situations, going the extra mile to offer superior service.
- Bring passion and energy to the role, embodying the ethos of 2024.
- Proficient in the latest software tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possess a strong educational background, demonstrating proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a modern and dynamic approach.
- Uphold professionalism at all times, showcasing a keen focus on accuracy in high-pressure situations.
