Job Description
- Guest Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Check-in and Check-out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome, accurate information, and assistance with luggage and other needs.
- Reservations and Booking: Handle reservations, bookings, and cancellations, utilizing the hotel’s reservation system to manage room inventory effectively and optimize occupancy rates.
- Information and Assistance: Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and transportation options, offering recommendations and assistance to enhance their stay experience.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints and issues diplomatically, striving to resolve conflicts and ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Public Relations: Act as a representative of the hotel, fostering positive relationships with guests, visitors, and the local community through effective communication, courteous behavior, and personalized service.
- Front Desk Operations: Oversee front desk operations, including managing incoming calls, handling mail and packages, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to coordinate guest services and ensure a seamless experience throughout their stay.
- Sales Support: Assist with upselling room upgrades, amenities, and hotel packages to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance the guest experience.
- Crisis Management: Remain calm and composed during emergencies or crises, following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1+ years relevant work experience.
- Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest services role is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and customer service principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly demeanor, patience, and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and resolve issues efficiently and tactfully.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with hotel reservation systems, property management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself with integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Salary
N45,000 – N50,000 Monthly.
