Job Title: Lecturer (Data Science Program)

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

• We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our faculty as a Lecturer in the MSc Data Science program.
• The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education, engaging in research, and nurturing the development of future leaders in Data Science.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in the MSc Data Science program.
• Contributing to curriculum development to ensure its relevance to industry demands.
• Providing mentorship and support to postgraduate students in their academic and professional pursuits.
• Engaging in scholarly research and contributing to the university’s research goals.
• Participating in academic activities and collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Demonstrated potential for research and scholarly activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment.
