Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Data Science Program)
Location: Lagos
Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our faculty as a Senior Lecturer in the MSc Data Science program.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education, engaging in research, and fostering the development of future leaders in Data Science.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivering advanced courses in the MSc Data Science program.
- Contributing to curriculum development to ensure its alignment with industry needs.
- Providing mentorship and support to postgraduate students in their academic and professional journeys.
- Engaging in scholarly research and contributing to the university’s research objectives.
- Participating in academic leadership and administrative roles as required.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field from a reputable institution.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a track record of effective curriculum development.
- Active involvement in research with publications in reputable journals.
- Experience in guiding and mentoring students at the postgraduate level.
- Membership in professional organizations related to Data Science.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
