Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Software Engineering Program)

• Nigerian University of Technology and Management, NUTM invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer in the MSc Software Engineering program. We seek a dynamic individual with a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to contributing to the growth and success of our Software Engineering program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in the MSc Software Engineering program.
• Contributing to curriculum development and staying abreast of industry trends.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to students in their academic and professional journeys.
• Engaging in research activities and contributing to the university’s research agenda.
• Participating in relevant academic and administrative committees.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Software Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a track record of effective curriculum development.
• Active involvement in research with publications in reputable journals.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring students at the postgraduate level.
• Membership in professional organizations related to software engineering.
