Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary
In this role, responsibilities include:

  • Managing supply orders
  • Coordinating with vendors for delivery dates
  • Ensuring interdepartmental communication
  • Monitoring delivery timelines
  • Collaborating with Account Managers and Customers
  • Reporting order performance to management
  • Overseeing the flow of work from procurement to delivery
  • Identifying process gaps, and maintaining clear communication channels.

Duties and Responsibilities
Order Processing:

  • Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and accurately inputting customer orders into the system, ensuring availability of inventory, and collaborating with relevant departments or suppliers to expedite order fulfillment.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation to facilitate efficient tracking and management throughout the fulfillment process.

Expediting:

  • Monitor order status, identify potential delays, and proactively resolve issues to expedite order processing and delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely updates and coordination.
  • Provide regular updates to internal teams and customers regarding order status and any changes to delivery schedules.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping items accurately and securely according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards before shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels, replenish stock as needed, and ensure orders are shipped on schedule to meet customer expectations.

Customer Relationship:

  • Maintain regular communication with customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates on order status, and promptly resolving any issues or concerns
  • to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide personalized service tailored to individual customer needs, solicit feedback to identify areas for improvement, and build strong relationships to
  • foster loyalty and repeat business, with a primary focus on customer satisfaction throughout the order fulfillment process.
  • Contact vendors for quotes, review offers, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition, and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform customers of potential delays.
  • Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of productive operations.
  • Monitor delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Customers for updates on delivery timelines.
  • Compile, record and order performance and progress to management and key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for monitoring the flow of work from supply procurement to actual product deliveries.
  • Identify process gaps and consult with management to determine solutions.
  • Maintaining a clear and open line of communication is crucial in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years of supply chain, production, and process improvement experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong analytical mind.
  • Excellent at working in a multicultural environment, with a good team-building spirit.
