Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About The Role

  • The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Supply Chain processes within CHI Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
  • This includes planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Supply Chain products.

Duties & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic Supply Chain plans to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
  • Ensure the availability of Supply Chain products while minimizing excess inventory.

Procurement:

  • Source and negotiate contracts with Supply Chain manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sources of Supply Chain products.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Supply Chain distribution.
  • Implement quality control processes to guarantee the integrity of Supply Chain products.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to address compliance issues.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Supply Chain manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies.

Logistics Management:

  • Oversee the transportation and distribution of Supply Chain products.
  • Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Inventory Management:

  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust reorder points to meet demand fluctuations.
  • Implement efficient tracking systems to manage and trace Supply Chain products.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments such as Sales and Finance to align Supply Chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address Supply Chain issues.

Education / Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using Supply Chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and Project Management Skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
