Job Description
MalaikAir is seeking an experienced and people-oriented professional to join our team as the Head of People & Culture. As the Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting employee growth and engagement, and driving a culture of excellence at MalaikAir.

Responsibilities
Human Resources Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive human resources strategies aligned with MalaikAir’s overall goals and objectives.
- Create and implement talent acquisition, retention, and succession plans to ensure a pipeline of skilled and diverse employees.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Develop and oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection.
- Ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires, facilitating their integration into the organization and providing necessary support.
Employee Development and Engagement:
- Design and implement employee development programs, performance management systems, and career progression frameworks.
- Foster a culture of learning and growth by providing opportunities for training, development, and mentorship.
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, employee surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Collaborate with finance and legal departments to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Employee Relations and Policies:
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems and processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans and career development opportunities.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR analytics to generate insights and reports on key people metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor HR-related KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management, identifying areas for enhancement and strategic interventions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (8+ years) in human resources management, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Experience in designing and implementing HR programs, policies, and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage HR data to drive informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with HR analytics tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Passion for fostering a positive work culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with employees at all levels.
- Prior experience in the aviation industry or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
