Job Title: Production Lead

Location: Awka, Anambra

Job Description

• We’re seeking a skilled and adaptable Production Lead to join our team in Awka, Anambra State.
• This role requires strong leadership abilities to oversee production processes, ensuring optimal operations and resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Manage production teams to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and meet production targets.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop strategies for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and ensure reliability.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to operational staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical or management field.
• 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of operational processes, including production, maintenance, supply chain, and quality management.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Onsite living required.

Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 / month.
