Job Overview

  • We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our hospitality team. The Bartender will play a key role in creating and serving delicious cocktails and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, according to established recipes and standards. Use mixology techniques to craft unique and flavorful drinks that meet guest preferences.
  • Customer Service: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring an enjoyable experience. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs promptly and courteously, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Bar Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including proper storage of glassware, ingredients, and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and reconciling cash drawers at the end of each shift. Maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity in all financial transactions, following company policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate food and beverage service and ensure guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
  • Training and Mentoring: Assist in training and mentoring new bartenders and barbacks, providing guidance on drink preparation techniques, service standards, and customer interactions. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for new team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a positive and engaging manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • TIPS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service is preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
