Description

• Our organisation is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly qualified IELTS Instructor to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective IELTS lessons tailored to individual student needs, covering all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
• Provide regular feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement
• Prepare and administer practice tests, mock exams, and other assessments to track student progress
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes student participation and collaboration
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IELTS exam format, materials, and teaching methodologies
• Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of the IELTS Training Centre
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related field)
• A recognized teaching qualification or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years experience teaching IELTS preparation courses
• In-depth knowledge of the IELTS exam format, assessment criteria, and scoring system
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Desirable:

• A distinct British accent or a native English speaker’s accent
• Experience teaching in a multicultural environment
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital resources
• Ability to teach other ESL courses (e.g., General English, Business English, etc.)
• A strong business and enterprise acumen.
