Description

  • The Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare working in close contact with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization).

To speed up all medical project collaborations with the African countries Government Medical Ministries, calling for application into:

Main Purpose

  • In response to the alarming malnutrition crisis, MSF expanded activities in 2022, working in 32 outpatient therapeutic feeding centers and 10 inpatient therapeutic feeding centers across Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara states in North West region.

Role

  • The Medical Officers are specialists with expertise in several medical areas relevant to the MSF, such as clinical medicine, occupational health, emergency medicine, travel and tropical medicine, radiation protection and medico-legal issues; and a promoter of a healthy and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Mid-level
  • Experience Length: 3 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
