Job Title: Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Role Summary
- Currently, we are looking to add an enthusiastic, committed, and skilled consultant obstetrician and gynecologist to our prestigious Obstetrics & Gynecology team. In order to facilitate and provide top-notch obstetrics and gynecology services, the ideal applicant will be extremely knowledgeable, show proactive involvement, be resourceful, and be an excellent team member.
- We provide obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, specialized treatment for endometriosis, medical care for pregnancy, childbirth, and female reproductive health, as well as IVF and minimal access surgery, which includes hysteroscopic and laparoscopic gynecological procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct standard gynecological exams to evaluate women’s reproductive health, such as pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams.
- Identify and manage gynecological problems, including STIs, pelvic discomfort, and menstrual abnormalities.
- Offer prenatal care to expectant mothers, such as routine examinations, prenatal testing, and pregnancy-related counseling.
- Handle high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery issues, and difficulties following childbirth.
- Execute surgical treatments as required, including hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and laparoscopic operations.
- Inform patients on family planning, contraceptive methods, and issues related to reproductive health.
- Work together with other medical professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and midwives, to offer patients complete treatment.
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven experience working as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of obstetric and gynecological procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
