WAVE is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth, more than 50 million, are either unemployed or underemployed. Meanwhile, job creation in the region is on the rise. The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Picker / Packer
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Collating and packing daily orders of key items for assigned stores and placing them in a designated area
- Agile and ability to conduct warehouse operations (picking and packing stocks) without supervision
- Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment
Requirements
- Possess First Degree (BSC), Higher National Diploma(HND) or an Ordinary National Diploma(OND).
- Resides in Ogba, Ikeja, Ojodu Berger, Ketu, Agege, Ojota.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit, as the work involves lifting and quite a lot of walking all day.
- Good organizational skills.
- Computer Literate.
- Numerical Skills.
