Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
KeyResponsibilities
- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Managing supplier relationships and performance.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Preparing procurement reports and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local and international supply markets.
Requirements:
- Must be 35 years or older.
- Must reside in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / Month.
