Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Runner to join our team. The Runner will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our establishment by assisting with various tasks to ensure efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and setup of the dining area, including arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner, following established service procedures.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurately prepared and delivered to the correct tables.
  • Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining, ensuring prompt removal of used dishes and utensils.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels in the dining area.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests in a professional and attentive manner, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the establishment.
  • Train and mentor new runners, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and perform effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a desire to provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
