Zion Empowerment Arena for the Needy Initiative (ZEANI) and University of Nigeria (UNN) Nsukka Community Development Service Education (CDSE) is a school and apprenticeship programme in partnership with Centre for Technical, Vocational Education, Training and Research (CETVETAR) under the Faculty of Vocational Technical Education (VTE) University of Nigeria (UNN) Nsukka. The Centre is currently lead by Professor J.A Okonze as the Director while the faculty Dean is Professor E.O Anaele.
The school is regulated by the National Board for Technical Education(NBTE), supported and approved by the Enugu State Ministry of Education. The school in collaboration with local actors such as universities, state ministries of education, federal government ministries and agencies reaches out to the youths in their local communities by providing both scholarship and non – scholarship programmes in the form of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to them in various areas of trades at ordinary craft and advanced craft level education for gainful employment.

The Programme
The programme among others is meant for
- Candidates with momentum to crush poverty via formal apprenticeship education
- Candidates that prefer technical and vocational-oriented schools
- Candidates with informal technical knowledge, and primitive or native skills but needs certifications and legal identity to practice
- Candidates with wisdom to pass through craftsmanship and technician cadre first, before rising to engineering cadre or become a technical and vocational education teacher
- Person or group of persons with or without formal education but need technical training education to fit into a professional role
- Persons seeking to work with ordinary craft level and Advanced craft level qualifications,
- Tertiary Institution Graduates, Artisans and tradespersons willing to enhance their technical knowledge,
- JAMB candidates seeking indirect and direct entry admissions in University of Nigeria Nsukka and other Nigeria Higher institutions with our qualifications.

- Only Admitted candidates will pay registration fee for collection of requisite training items at ZEANI-UNN Community Development Service Education (CDSE) physical office at African Development Fund (ADF) Building, Faculty of Vocational & Technical Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka and other centers respectively.
- Qualified applicants not admitted in the first batch of admission due to carrying capacity and quality control will be considered in the second batch of admission.
