Job Title: Account Officer – Strategic Partnership

Job Summary

  • The Account Officer in the Strategic Partnership Unit is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of transactions derived from partnership deals.
  • This role involves engaging with clients, understanding their financial needs, and securing loans to meet set targets. The Account Officer will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless processing of transactions while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Additionally, the role requires maintaining strong client relationships, conducting thorough due diligence, and providing strategic insights to enhance the unit’s performance.
  • The Account Officer’s efforts will directly contribute to maximizing the value of partnership deals and driving the overall success of the department.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, finance, or a related sector, with a focus on loan management and client relations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly loans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills.

Dutues and Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Engage with clients sourced through partnership deals to understand their financial needs and propose suitable loan products. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Transaction Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of transactions from initial client engagement to loan disbursement. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed set targets for loan bookings and other performance metrics. Develop strategies to maximize loan uptake from partnership deals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for all loan applications.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions. Prepare regular reports on performance metrics, client feedback, and market trends.
  • Market Research and Strategy: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
