Job Title: Hostel Parent

Job Description
- We are seeking a caring and responsible Hostel Parent to join our team.
- As a Hostel Parent, you will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for students living in the hostel.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of students, as well as maintaining a clean and organized living space.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for students living in the hostel
- Ensure the well-being and safety of students, including monitoring their physical and emotional health
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging their personal growth and development
- Supervise and manage student behavior, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized living space, including common areas and student rooms
- Collaborate with other student life staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote student engagement and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including student attendance, behavior, and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience working with teenagers, preferably in a school setting
- Experience working with students of varying ages and backgrounds
- Experience developing and implementing programs and activities to promote student engagement and well-being.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Strong commitment to student learning and well-being
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
