SIMS Nigeria Limited specializes in the assembly, distribution and sales of consumer electronics from major brands such as – Samsung, Panasonic, Royal, Skyworth, Electrolux, Bosch, Philips and Powermatic. Our business started out in 1987 and since then we have grown to be a market leader in the home appliances & consumer electronics market in Nigeria. We operate a number of branches that cut across most of Nigeria’s geopolitical zones in major cities such as Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Onitsha, Enugu, Uyo and Kano.

Job Description

  • As an HR Executive, you will be instrumental in managing our human resources operations, with a strong focus on performance management.
  • You will work closely with team leaders and employees to develop and implement effective performance management strategies that align with our company’s goals and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement performance management systems and processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with department heads to set performance goals and objectives.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Design and deliver training programs to support employee development and performance enhancement.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage employee relations and handle performance-related issues effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to HR.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4 – 5 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on performance management.
  • Deep understanding of performance management systems and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
