National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) calls on Interested Pupils from Primary Schools and Students in Secondary Schools and Tertiary Institutions across the Federation to participate in a graphic art design competition by designing a NIMC Logo and explaining the concept behind the design.
The concept note which should not exceed 200 words, should have the following:
1) National identification Number (NIN)
2) Name of School/Institution
3) Class/Level (as the case may be)
4) The Design Approach/Steps
5) The inspiration behind the Concept
6) The Advantage over the existing logo
7) Graphics Style and typography
8) Colours etc
Categories:
This competition cuts across all age grades in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary institutions with winners selected from each category.
Submission :
Designs, accompanied by concept notes should be sent in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format via email to: idday2024@nimc.gov.ng with “Logo Design” as the email’s subject.
The deadline for all submissions is 4:00 PM Friday 16th August, 2024.
Reward:
The winners from each category will be invited to the 2024 ID Day in Abuja for the presentation of the award by the Director General of the Commission on Monday 16th September, 2024.
Please Note the following:
a) NIMC Staff and Family members are excluded from participation in this Competition.
b) Joint Design is allowed.
c) This Competition is aimed at celebrating and appreciating an individual’s unique identity and creativity therefore, NIMC will verify all submissions to ensure their originality (i.e. Winners may be asked to redesign their submitted concepts)
