Job Title: Airport Duty Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT), Kano, Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Requirements
- University degree mandatory.
- Minimum of two years airline experience in supervisory or leadership positions with proven skills in passenger service/station Services, Ground Operations and personnel administration required.
- Familiar with NCAA and IATA regulations and requirements related to ground handling and passenger Services preferred.
- Excellent customer service & people skills and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to direct the work of others in a positive way.
- Ability to handle multiple and varied responsibilities and tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with subcontracted Ground Service Provider and other third parties;
- Coordinate all phases of airport daily Services including nights, weekends and holidays with full authority to make decisions critical to maintaining Company operating and safety objectives.
- Be the champion of ensuring Bellagio Air’s customer proposition is fulfilled.
- Create, maintain, and demonstrate a safety culture on your shift that incorporates Bellagio Air values into all the daily Services.
- Provide feedback to the Station Manager on the performance of subcontracted Ground Service Provider and other third parties with recommendations for appropriate improvements and/or development if needed and changes to ensure quality service and operational goals are achieved while meeting established productivity goals.
- Assess airport operation situations and respond in a manner that maintains operational reliability while ensuring safety, compliance and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with OCC, Maintenance, Flight Ops, Inflight and MCO to decide acceptable passenger, baggage, and on-time performance impacts due to off- schedule Services.
- Participate in the implementation of any procedural or process changes as they relate to the arrival or departure of aircraft, passenger flow and balancing, and baggage make-up and delivery.
- Participate in any investigations required on your shift forInjuries, incidents, or accidents.
- Other duties as assigned by the Station Manager.
