Finance Officer at QuickFund Microfinance Bank

QuickFund Microfinance Bank was incorporated in December 2017 under the Companies and Allied Matters Acts of 1990 and was licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in July 2018. The Bank commenced business in September 2018 to carry out the business of Micro financing. Our business location is 20, Channels Drive OPIC Estate Isheri Ogun State Nigeria. With a shareholders’ fund in excess of N20m and recently increased to N100m in May 2019, the bank is poised to empower the active poor Nigerians and become the leading Microfinance Bank in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Perform a daily Call-Over of the transactions of the previous day to ensure they agree with the tickets.
  • Review the Trial Balance of the Bank daily to ascertain its completeness.
  • Preparation of periodic Financial Reports to help management make informed decisions.
  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements for all the correspondence banks.
  • Preparation and rendition of both regulatory and statutory reports/returns to CBN, NDIC, CAC, NFIU, FIRS, Pension Administrators, NSITF, Credit Bureau etc.
  • Payroll administration.
  • Computation of regulatory and other financial ratios to assist management decision making.
  • Liaise with the CFO to ensure that all forms of levies/fees to local, State and Federal governments are paid as and when due.
  • Keep and maintain an Asset Register for the Bank.
  • Review and prepare monthly reports on the Risk Assets (Credit Portfolio) of the Bank.
  • Review all areas of risk and prepare monthly reports on an enterprise – wide bassis.
  • Assist the CFO in the preparation of Annual Reports and Financial statements for external audit.
  • Ensures that the bank is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements to avoid sanctions.
  • Carry out any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by management.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or Banking. Possession of a Professional Qualification is an added advantage. Applicant must be MCIB qualified.
  • Applicants must reside around Ojodu Berger, Olowora, Magodo,Isheri-Opic, Arepo and environs.
