TAAS College , Ibadan isa Co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan. The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to the secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. The college which is enriched with stately built school premises in a serene and conducive environment with modern facilities commenced operations in 2005

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Geography Teacher

Location: Apata / Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geography or a related field (Education qualification is an added advantage).
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Geography at the secondary school level.
  • Proven experience with the use of educational technology tools (e.g., interactive whiteboards, virtual learning environments, etc.).
  • Tech-savvy and able to incorporate digital resources into lessons.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to inspire students.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to students’ success.
  • Must be a resident of Ibadan or willing to relocate to Ibadan, close to the school.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, or other learning management systems.
  • Ability to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other geospatial technologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to continuous learning.

Salary
N45,000 – N55,000 / month.
