We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Program Officer (Public Health)

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Identification

  • The Program Officer for Public Health will secure funding and partnerships to support public health initiatives.
  • This role will work closely with program teams to align fundraising efforts with public health project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities for public health programs, including WASH, maternal and child health, and nutrition.
  • Develop grant proposals to ensure alignment between project goals and donor requirements.
  • Ensure that funding proposals are aligned with the strategic goals of the health programs and that mobilized resources are efficiently allocated to meet programmatic needs.
  • Build and manage relationships with donors and public health partners, while ensuring program objectives are communicated effectively.
  • Develop communication materials for donor outreach, including proposals and progress reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in resource mobilization and public health programming.
  • Strong understanding of the public health landscape, particularly in infectious diseases and maternal and child health.
  • Proven Experience in Multi-Donor Management
  • Strong Analytical and Research Skills
  • Proficiency in Donor Management Systems and Tools.
