Nigerian Air Force is calling on all interested and qualified applicants to apply for its Direct Short Service Commission DSSC 33 recruitment for Graduates 2024. Note that the Application will start on 14 October 2024!
NAF DSSC Recruitment:
The Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) is a type of commission in the NAF which is open to both civilians and serving military personnel. The Course provides the avenue for the enlistment of degree holders who are professionals in specified fields. Training period for this type of commission is usually 6 months. of intensive military training and successful candidates are commissioned into the rank of fluing Officer.
Qualifications:
1. Interested applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for holders of the first degree and Upper Credit for HND holders.
2. In addition, applicants must possess credit in English Language end Mathematics as weil as 3 additional credits in subjects related to thew course of study.
3. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
4. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption from NYSC at the time of applying
5. Applicants must possess Certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodes in Nigeria where applicable.
6. Applicants must be of Nigerian ongin by birth.
7. Applicants must not be less than 1.66m tall for males and not less than 1.63m tall for females.
8. Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically
9. Applicants must be free of any previous conviction(s) on criminal grounds, by a court of law.
10. Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years (Candidates born before 27 September 1995 sre not eligible) with the following exceptions:
a. Medical Consultants should be between the ages of 25 — 40 years (Candidates born before 27 September 1985 are not eligible).

Applicants whose applications meet the stipulated requirement are to print out the under listed documents after completion of the online application:
a. Local Government Area Attestation Form to be signed by a Military/Police Officer from the same state as the applicants, not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Assistant Commissioner of Police and above, Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate and Principal of Secondary School attended by applicants.
b. Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
c. Attestation of Good Character Form.
d. Acknowledgment Form.
